The Ultimate Kratom Comparison Chart

Jul 13, 2008 I Kratom Types, Uncategorized.

Just about every 3-6 months, another Kratom extract or product hits the market only to offer an inferior experience in comparison to regular Kratom leaf. While the purpose of an extract is to make for a more palatable preparation, the minimal effects have never justified the outrageously high prices. Kratom vendors have long been trying to accomplish a superior extract, however, to date; extractions have been unable to replicate the full effect of unadultered leaf.

To prove this, I have been compiling the following list of Kratom products for quite some time, drawing from my own experience and input from various forums. The objective of this list is to generate an average price per dose to assist people in making better informed buying decisions. As you will see, most extracts are simply not cost effective; that is, unless your palate is more important than your wallet.

Lastly, I have tried to accomplish a methodology to ensure the most accurate calculation of cost per dose during the preparation of the following list. Because different Kratom strains can vary considerably in alkaloid content, and each individual responds differently to each one, I made a great deal of effort in making sure to compile as many individual experience reports as possible in establishing averaged comparable dosages. For instance, .5 grams of Ultra Enhanced Indo is almost universally compared to about 5-6 grams of Thai Kratom Leaf for most people; but please keep in mind, it is still a subjective measure.

hey, thanks for posting this-very useful!!

  2. paul Says:

Yes, incredibly helpful. I never knew what “pimp grade” kratom was. Let’s try to keep this legal!

  3. Doug Says:

Now we need to have the general characterization of sleepy or active key for each type and this would be the complete guide. Nice work!

  4. Dan Says:

Geese… Super Kratom is a rip-off… and Super Green Malaysian isn’t even Super as far as dosage goes O_o. Quite interesting. Although I have heard Super Green Malaysian is a very euphoric and stimulating experience, so the price seems justifiable.

Btw, Scott from Loveleafgarden sells the best Kratom around. Good customer service, reasonable prices, and outstanding products.

    Great stuff!!

Was just wanting some advise, i take vicodine alot for my back and i really really want to stop relying on this stuff, but when i stop taking it i have the worst withdrawls. im talkin like 2 norco every 3 hours, will Kratom really help with my withdrawls?

  6. Back Says:

I can testify that Kratom definitely helps relieve opiate withdrawal symptoms.

  7. Back Says:

I can testify from multiple experiments that Kratom definitely helps relieve opiate withdrawal symptoms, including chills/fever, anxiety, jitters, and cravings. I recommend about 1 oz per dose (I put it in the coffee maker) if you are opioid tolerant, and don’t expect to feel any noticeable effects other than wd relief. Naltrexone also is a great aid that you should get from your doctor. With both Naltrexone and Kratom I am able to detox in a week with very minimal suffering — except dealing with the pain. I hope this helps others.

Awesome! I’ve been looking for a table like this for ages. A summary of how the effects compare (some more analgesic than others, etc) would be a cool, if you’re ever stuck for posting ideas. ;)

All those strain names can be confusing!

  9. Tony Says:

Its the same with alot of herbal extracts. It is very difficult to “refine and extratct” the full potency that is found in the raw form of the plant itself.

  10. Madison Says:

“Pimp grade”?!? Is anyone else tired of “pimp” being considered a good thing?

  11. Hannah Says:

Thank you for taking the time to factor how the same dose might affect different people . . .well differently.

  12. Abby Says:

Maybe some information could be added to include the effect an identical dosage might have on a 200lb body instead of a 150lb body?

  13. Kh0 Says:

I’d heard that, even whist acting on very different receptor sites, Kratom can exaggerate effects of Opiates/ bezodiazepines/ other CNS depressants.
I thought it acted on (forgive me for being un-scientific) the Triptamine receptors, not the opitate receptors… but still could give opiate-like results.

I am addicted to high levels of Benzos, 70mg Methadone and am down to 6-8 units of alchohol a day. These are all long term addictions, most of which stem back further than a decade.

I’ve just recieved 2g of (special salvia brand) 25x Kratom… Although I’ve already had to take my morning 2mg of Alprazolam, 20mg Diazepam+ 40mg Methadone (roughly half my opiate dose).. I plan to wait till later in the afternoon when I would start to need my second doses then try 0.5grams of this exract.

I am looking to gain stimulation as well as relaxation as I have terrible problems with lethargy,,, does anyone have any help on dosing with 25X extract?

  14. Kh0 Says:

Oh and be careful with Naltraxone until opiates are out of your body- it is primarlily meant as a blocker but can be used to induce opiate withdrawal (fast and hard!)
Also you cant change your mind afterwards as you will be blocked from opiates and alot of people in the UK overdose as they can’t get a decent hit.

I had awful experiences with Naltraxone… even 1 month after no opiates it was still giving me terrible sweats and withdrawal-like symptoms…

Thankfully Im 4 years clean of any street drug,,, I love my cannabis but only my own!

  15. Anonymous Says:

If you are already addicted to strong opiates, kratom probably won’t work for you if you take them together. You need to wait until you are in opiate withdrawal before taking the kratom to get proper effects from it. This is because the kratom alkaloids do not work on the opiate receptors in the same way as regular opiates.

As far as strains go, Maeng Da is the best. Quantitative analysis shows that nearly all other types of plain kratom leaf have similar potency, although subjectively they can have differing effects.

  16. Doug Says:

I would dissagree! I love extracts from Speciosa, they are more expensive per dose, but are worth it. BTW, it is VERY important to only use twice a week!!

  17. Abyssa8 Says:

For severe opiate addiction–look into Ibogaine–fascinating!!!

  18. PanterA Fan 80 Says:

Thank you for the data. I weigh 150lb exactly:) You’re right on about dried kratom leaf vs kratom extracts. Three days ago i received the 10x extract from my “dealer”. Its no different from the dried leaf i usually get. I paid $50 for 24G of 10x compared to $24 for 4oz of dried leaf.
Kratom really does work for opiate cravings and withdrawal. I used to inject fentanyl, dilaudid, morphine and any other pain killer i could get my hands on from the hospital pharmacy i worked at. Now i don’t need that stuff. You need to try this if you have these same problems. Take it from an ex addict.
P.S. I have deg. disc disease and a labral tear in my shoulder. I hurt like hell until the kratom is in my belly. LOL

I find kratom bought at flaglercafe.com is the best to kick the Vicodin habit.

[...] dosages and just general info since I’ve never tried Kratom before. I found this comparison chart: http://kratomplateau.com/blog/?p=15 Could someone w/ experience maybe chime in and let me know if the info is accurate as per average [...]

  21. K2 Says:

kratom is a total godsend for other addictions
A good extract propper strength will not only relieve pretty severe withdrawals but as with all opiates removes the desire for alchol if you so wish
All you have to work out is how much to take
    A decent 20X Indo @ 5gs is a good starting point
I will say probably not headshop type
Eurokrat.eu will do it (does 4 me)
If you need more do it by the hour
Hope this is helpful - I have had a whole life to deal with these things
& kratom has changed my life (other than abstinence!!)
